Maintenance Technician – Nights We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work nights at our plant in Moorville. The role focuses on ensuring equipment uptime through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Repair and maintain industrial control systems, conveyors, and other plant equipment. Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with company processes. Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs safely and promptly. Assist as a production operator when needed. Create and report repairs throughout the shift; complete required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage. Follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation; use personal protective equipment when required. Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support equipment and facility uptime. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 4 years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment. 4 years of experience in a similar position. 4 years of experience managing people or projects. Ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments. Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Proficiency with shop equipment (presses, grinders, drill press, mill, lathe, power tools). Proficient with precision measuring equipment (calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, depth gauges). Willingness to serve as a technical leader and trainer within the plant or machine center. Own toolbox and basic tools. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 6 years of experience in the same position. 6 years of experience managing people or projects. Experience in high‑speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries. Experience with VFDs, servo drives/motors, rotary equipment, thermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing. Knowledge of Krones, Sidel, or Husky equipment, HVAC systems (chillers, air compressors). Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting. Fabrication skills (cutting, welding: MIG, TIG, stick). Experience with electrical systems (480VAC & 24VDC power). Reading and interpreting process and instrumentation diagrams. Skill in repairing VFDs, servo motors, controllers, communication systems (Asi-bus, CAN-bus, Profi-bus, Ethernet), PLC input/output cards, and safety modules. Preferred: Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or a related field.
