Registered Nurse - Field Assessor

We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our passionate team in Lafayette, LA. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA) you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands‑off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence. The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point‑of‑care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes. This position is not eligible for benefits. Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation Current CPR certification Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client Preferred Qualifications Able to work independently Good communication, writing, and organizational skills State Specific Requirements LA: At a minimum, one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse may be waived for a Registered Nurse with recent clinical experience as an LPN.
