About the Position

License: Active RN license in the state or compact license required. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience - Travel experience required - Large hospital experience required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical and telemetry specialty. The role involves caring for patients with diverse medical needs. Nurses will work on a team nursing model with a ratio of 1:12. Patient assignments will be split between two registered nurses, an LPN, and a medication nurse. Experience with central lines, wound care, drains, ostomies, and Foley catheters is essential. Chemotherapy administration will be performed by oncology certified nurses only. Interdisciplinary support services available include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. This unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patient populations. The expected patient ratio is typically 5-6:1 on this unit due to the support structure. All candidates must meet the experience requirements and have previous travel experience. Only qualified applicants will be considered for this role.
