Marketing Specialist (Commercial Sponsorship/Advertising) NF-03.

Responsibilities Perform marketing functional services under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, including commercial sponsorship and advertising. Determine marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, participation, and community awareness of Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. Track annual events eligible for sponsorship, package events, develop solicitation packets, and solicit sponsorships from local sponsors. Negotiate mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and execute supporting documents; attend events and serve as point of contact for sponsors. Coordinate with the installation Staff Judge Advocate to ensure sponsorship terms comply with DA, IMCOM, and local regulations and policies. Compile and provide After Action Reports; perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. May be subject to a one-year probationary period. Successfully complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks per AR 215‑3, para. 2, including a Tier 1 background investigation. Valid state driver’s license required. Qualifications Demonstrated work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising; knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Practices. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate orally and in writing; ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representatives of varying management levels. One (1) year of professional experience in advertising, soliciting sponsorship, or another sales‑related field is highly preferred.
