Overview
Registered Nurse, L&D (Labor and Delivery) – Clearlake, California. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: 9 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,430-$2,541 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12), totaling 36 hours per week. This travel temporary assignment is in a hospital setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care for women from childbearing through geriatric years and infants up to 28 days of life, coordinating care with multiple disciplines. This role is represented by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care across the Women’s Care Unit, spanning obstetric to geriatric patient needs and infants up to 28 days old
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications and IV fluids per PCS policies; manage narcotics in accordance with unit procedures
- Accurately charge for patients and unit supplies; document assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses
- Develop individualized care plans, set nursing priorities, and adjust care as patient status evolves
- Educate patients and families, and communicate clearly with physicians, peers, and other care team members
- Demonstrate effective leadership by directing and delegating tasks to other staff providing direct patient care under RN supervision
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment; respond promptly to emergencies

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- RN II, Women’s Care Unit designation (per job notes)
- Ability to perform age-appropriate assessments and care for infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Proficiency in standard nursing skills and patient/family education
- Willingness to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule in a hospital environment
