Design tailored treatment plans to target both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure integrated care delivery.

Provide education for patients and families, enabling support and progress beyond the therapy sessions.

Occasionally handle inpatient evaluations and interventions, fostering continuity throughout the care continuum.

Keep precise and timely records in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with fellow clinicians to stay abreast of field advancements.

Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) training to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based practices for individuals across the lifespan, including a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Ability to tailor therapy techniques to accommodate cultural and linguistic diversity.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
