We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Job Summary:Provides blood collection for laboratory analysis and 12 Lead Cardiogram acquisitions for in-patients and select out-patients of all ages.Key Position Details:FTE 0.8 (64 hours per two week pay period)8 hour evening & night shifts, based on department needsEvery other weekend including Saturday & SundayJob Description:Provides blood collection for laboratory analysis and 12 Lead Cardiogram acquisitions for in-patients and select out-patients of all ages.Principle Responsibilities:Blood sample collection via phlebotomy for lab analysisAcquisition of 12 Lead CardiogramsDepartmental Operations and WorkflowSafetyTechnologyRequired Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job descriptionPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GED2 to 5 years experience in phlebotomyLicenses/Certifications:Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)Phlebotomy Certification upon hire preferredPhysical Demands:Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay Range:$21.82 to $28.25 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
