Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the specific needs, challenges, and strengths of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's developmental stage and family context, employing both individual and family therapy modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders through both individual sessions and family therapy.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and available community resources to foster a deeper understanding and support system.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team discussions to optimize care strategies and share insights from individual client interactions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay abreast of current research, trends, and practices in child and adolescent mental health, fostering your professional growth and the effectiveness of our programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children and adolescents, collaborating closely with their families to create a supportive atmosphere that promotes mental health. Our clientele comprises individuals dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, where your expertise will guide them toward better emotional regulation and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, ideally with a focus on child and adolescent mental health.
\n
• Strong grasp of mental health disorders affecting young populations and knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities pertinent to this demographic.

• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and family therapy, showing compassion and a client-centered approach.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in building rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer skills, essential for documentation and communication.
\n
• Collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years’ experience is required, we prefer candidates who have actively engaged in training or specialization programs focusing on child and adolescent mental health. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices or play therapy techniques would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
