Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Warehouse Operations Supervisor Job Type: Full-time; On‑site Responsibilities Provide leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Provide measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements. Conduct interviews, hiring and training as necessary. Support the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates. Assist with process improvement initiatives. Conduct regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards. Ensure excellent customer service and communication. Receiving: Check in product completely and accurately. Stock products correctly. Loading: Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveries. Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety. Returns: Inspect and physically count returned merchandise. Restock inventory in appropriate place. Outbound freight of vendor returns. Paperwork for all warranty product. Unloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses. Operate power equipment, including forklift. May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed. Experience 3 years of related experience. Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers. Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems. Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice. Good memory and scanning abilities. Good communication and math skills. Able to lift 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis. Able to learn to use a forklift. May require valid driver’s license and conformance with company driver policy.
