Job Description

The Packaging Technician supports the safe and efficient assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products on first shift (6:45 AM to 2:45 PM). This role works in a cleanroom and temperature-controlled environments, follows strict Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures, and ensures products consistently meet high quality and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all assigned tasks.
• Comply with all safety regulations and perform activities in a safe, efficient manner at all times.
• Perform manual and automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary performer of in-process inspections, Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections, and other related quality checks.
• Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products based on established criteria.
• Complete computer-related tasks, including signing in to jobs, documenting in-process actions, and entering data accurately.
• Participate in the start-up, operation, and closure of packaging jobs, ensuring proper set-up and shutdown procedures are followed.
• Perform counts of components and drug products to verify quantities and support inventory accuracy.
• Interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork to ensure proper assembly and configuration of clinical supplies.
• Clean packaging rooms, equipment, and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements to maintain a controlled, clean environment.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and meet production goals.
• Take initiative in daily work, follow through on commitments, and adapt to changing priorities or circumstances.
• Accept and learn from feedback, including Corrective and Preventative Actions, to continuously improve performance and processes.

This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Allentown,PA.
