About the Role:
Join DWC as a Direct Care Staff member, where you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in need. Located in La Mirada, CA, our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and making a positive impact in the community.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
Monitor and document client progress and behavior.
Implement care plans and follow safety protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
Engage clients in social and recreational activities.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in direct care or related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Background check clearance required.
