Estate Planning Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney in San Diego, CA. Identify strategies to meet client objectives and recommend appropriate trusts. Draft estate planning documents, including wills and various trusts. Explain complex legal concepts and estate plan provisions to clients. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Consult with clients, accountants, and financial advisors as needed. Maintain consistent communication with clients to cultivate relationships. Report on caseload at weekly case review meetings. Develop a client following to increase firm revenues. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed with the California State Bar. 3+ years of estate planning experience from inception to conclusion. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Working knowledge of finance, investments, and taxes. Ability to focus under pressure and adapt to change. High degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity. Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and case management software. Experience with Wealth Counsel drafting is desired. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed with the California State Bar. Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
