Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney in San Diego, CA. The role involves working closely with clients and contributing to a positive firm culture. Duties Communicate effectively with clients, staff, opposing attorneys, and the court. Make court appearances. Prepare, review, and edit legal documents, including declarations, motions, and discovery. Audit and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy. Assist with case management and meeting deadlines. Prepare for hearings and trial preparations. Perform miscellaneous job duties related to the position. Efficient billing. Requirements Licensed by California State Bar and in good standing. Minimum of one year of Family Law experience required. Thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices. Strong communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficient computer knowledge/skills. Proficient in Word Perfect, Word, Essential Forms, Google Calendar, and DissoMaster. Experience with Infusion Soft, TimeSolv, and Attorney's Briefcase a plus. Ability to handle multiple job duties effectively and efficiently. Reliable, dependable, with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor. Education Juris Doctor degree. Certifications Licensed by California State Bar. Skills Critical thinking skills. Planning and organizing skills. Strong communication skills. Proficient computer knowledge/skills.
