BUSINESS ANALYST

Confidential Client | Scottsdale, Arizona | Full-Time

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A growing Scottsdale-based organization is seeking a Business Analyst to turn complex operational, marketing, and financial data into clear business insight.

This role will support executive decision-making through reporting, dashboard development, funnel analysis, inventory and demand analytics, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across functions, asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and translating data into recommendations leaders can act on.

The Business Analyst will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve visibility, strengthen decision-making, and help the organization scale with greater discipline and clarity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting & Dashboards

• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reporting for leadership and executives, with clear narratives around trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards covering the full lifecycle from lead generation through screening, banking, and distribution.

• Standardize metric definitions so funnel, inventory, and financial reporting reconcile to a consistent source of truth.

Funnel & Marketing Analytics

• Analyze funnel performance by channel, campaign, geography, and demographic.

• Measure conversion rates, cost per qualified lead or donor, and time in stage.

• Identify drop-off points and disqualification drivers.

• Partner with Recruitment and Clinical teams to test and measure process improvements.

• Support marketing-spend allocation through ROI and attribution analysis.

Inventory & Demand Analytics

• Model inventory supply and demand across key profile characteristics and customer demand.

• Forecast inventory needs and identify potential gaps or overstock risks.

• Support recruitment targeting by translating demand patterns into profile priorities.

• Analyze storage, shipping, and distribution activity for throughput, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.

Cross-Functional Projects & Data Quality

• Serve as analytical lead on strategic projects including pricing studies, market launches, vendor evaluations, and system implementations.

• Prepare, present, and defend analysis and business recommendations to leadership in support of investment and strategic decisions.

• Partner with IT and system owners to improve data capture, reporting accuracy, and data integrity across CRM, operational, and internal systems.

• Document data definitions and analytical methodologies.

• Train business users on self-service reporting and data interpretation.

• Handle sensitive donor and patient data in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy policies.

HOW YOU WORK

• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and explain what the data means, not simply what it says.

• Ask the question behind the question and reframe requests when the real business problem differs from the original request.

• Build credibility with clinical, operational, and commercial partners who may approach business problems from different perspectives.

• Maintain a high level of curiosity and analytical discipline.

• Challenge assumptions when the data does not support a requested conclusion.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or analytics roles supporting operations, marketing, or finance.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong storytelling and communication ability, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.

Preferred

• Experience working with CRM data such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

• Experience with funnel and conversion analytics.

• Familiarity with forecasting techniques and basic statistical methods, including regression and cohort analysis.

• Experience supporting a private-equity-backed, growth-stage, or fast-paced organization with frequent reporting cadences.
