Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient office in San Diego, California, where you will work a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The clinical setting is designed to facilitate effective treatment while ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the unique goals and needs of each patient effectively.
• Maintain an optimal patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that resonate with each patient's specific needs.
• Offer cost-effective treatments aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function.
• Utilize the latest strategies to minimize reliance on medications and identify effective non-surgical alternatives.
• Incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, into patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
• Monitor treatment effects regularly and modify care plans as necessary, ensuring open communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Document all patient interactions and services provided in compliance with best practices and clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care strategies that address complex health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients in our orthopedic outpatient setting, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgery, or chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on empowering patients through rehabilitative techniques that support their return to everyday activities and improve their overall physical well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, without any board or disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills along with the ability to craft effective and customized exercise routines.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care will be prioritized, as this experience is crucial in understanding the unique challenges and needs of our patient population. Proficiency in developing individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies is especially valuable in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
