Mechanical Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in nonwovens manufacturing, is seeking a LaboratoryTechnician to join their team. As a LaboratoryTechnician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to innovative process development and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: LaboratoryTechnician Location: Maplewood, MN 100% onsite Pay Range: $18 to $22 Duration 12 month contract What's the Job? Configure, operate, and maintain process equipment, including labline systems Measure and characterize the properties of nonwoven materials off the production line Keep detailed records and communicate technical work and results effectively Follow and develop standard operating procedures while adapting to changing priorities and run plans Maintain a safe and organized work environment, handling materials as needed What's Needed? Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with labline equipment and roll-to-roll or similar heavy industrial equipment in production or pilot plant settings Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based, high-speed environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with safety gear including steeltoe shoes, hearing protection, and respiratory protection Willingness to adapt to evolving work plans and priorities What's in it for me?
