Location Sam's Club #4837, 201 Bass Pro Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726-5570 Position Summary As a member of our produce team, you’ll help decide the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. Be an Expert: Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of produce; prepare, trim, crisp, package, and scale products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to laws and policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; use digital tools; use perpetual inventory management; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; guide peers; serve customers per policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement action plans, apply Open Door Policy. Complete assignments and priorities using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; communicate progress; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to change. Compensation Hourly wage range $17.00 to $25.00. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility and specific work performed.
