Desired Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Experience in pediatrics, public health, or a school setting preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced or changing situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Proficiency with health record documentation and electronic medical systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and manage student health concerns and injuries
• Administer medication and provide treatment per physician orders and school policy
• Develop and update individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Educate students and staff on health topics, prevention, and wellness
• Maintain accurate medical records and report incidents as required
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and guardians to support student needs
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies and implement proper procedures
