Speech Language Pathologist SLP

Job Description We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health team! You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Responsibilities Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients Provides services in speech pathology in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment. Records and reports client’s reaction to treatment and any changes in the client’s condition to the physician and other members of the interdisciplinary team Instructs and advises client and family of the phases of speech pathology in which they may assist the client Assesses the client’s communication, oral‑motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, and problem‑solving activities, hearing and speech fluency and quality Evaluates, and regularly reevaluates, the speech pathology needs of the client Initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions of the client’s plan of care Conducts OASIS assessments as appropriate Qualifications Familiarity with communication disorders Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive and patient demeanor Requirements Licensed in the state as a Speech Language Pathologist Minimum of 6 months of experience in Speech Pathology #J-18808-Ljbffr
