A leading closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy is seeking two Direct Hire Clinical Pharmacists with expertise in controlled substances and narcotics. These positions support a growing operation and offer a rewarding opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment focused on patient safety and medication accuracy.


Locations: Dublin, OH (with work in Columbus area)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule Options:

• Second Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, every other weekend (5x8-hour shifts)
• Second Shift, 7 days on / 7 days off, Monday-Sunday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage controlled drugs, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, and potential interactions.
• Recommend therapy changes to physicians and facility staff when needed.
• Maintain comprehensive patient medication records, including clinical and laboratory data.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacy team members.
• Oversee medication preparation and maintain security protocols for all pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate records for controlled drugs and support inventory management.
• Participate in on-call duties as required to support continuous patient care.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio pharmacist license in-hand (required).
• Experience handling narcotics and controlled substances in a clinical pharmacy setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, preferably Frameworks.
