Merck seeks Masters-level students for a 12-week full-time Human Resources internship in the Global Support Division. The role offers exposure to talent management, employee relations, diversity initiatives, and HR operations through customized projects aligned with candidate interests and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide employee relations consultation to managers on performance management and conflict resolution
- Support execution of talent attraction, development, and retention initiatives
- Contribute to HR Operations projects aligned with strategic priorities
- Participate in Global Diversity & Inclusion strategy implementation
- Support HR business partner functions in organization change, analytics, and talent management
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Masters program in HR Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, I/O Psychology, or related Business field
- Completed at least one year of graduate coursework at internship start
- Ability to work full-time on-site at New Jersey or Pennsylvania location
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and ask probing questions
Compensation: $39,908 - $111,111 USD
