Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Rotating Days & Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00–7:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care delivery
• Float within the hospital and, if needed, to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as directed
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active PA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required — AHA certifications only accepted; must be current at submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address — local candidates are not accepted
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Must be available to complete fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs within 24–48 hours of signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
