OB/GYN Provider - Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse PractitionerApproved Salary: Physician (MD/DO): $200,000-$250,000/year, plus benefits; Nurse Practitioner: $125,000-$150,000/year, plus benefitsSchedule: Full-time onsite, 80% clinical; 37.5 hours/week, with shared evening/weekend coverageReports To: Medical DirectorWe are seeking a Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our OB/GYN team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse urban community in Roxbury, MA.This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, mission-driven provider who is passionate about women's health, health equity, preventive care, and improving outcomes for patients and families.You will work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health clinicians, resource case managers, and other members of an integrated care team.This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary OB/GYN program. For candidates interested in professional growth and leadership, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibility in clinical leadership, program development, quality improvement, education, and departmental initiatives based on interest, experience, and organizational needs.We welcome dedicated OB/GYN physicians and nurse practitioners who are looking for a collaborative environment where clinical care, teamwork, and community impact are valued.Summary/ObjectiveProvide comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, preventive, reproductive, and gynecologic care as appropriate to your role, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes and access to care.Essential FunctionsProvide comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, preventive, reproductive, and gynecologic care as appropriate to your role.Review laboratory, imaging, pathology, and other diagnostic results and ensure appropriate follow-up.Coordinate referrals, hospital follow-up, and transitions of care.Participate in shared system of telephone triage support and after-hours coverage, with a nurse triage service layer.Participate in quality improvement, population health, research, grant, and community-based initiatives.Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes and access to care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.Support a culture of professionalism, teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care.(Physician role) May participate in hospital-based OB/GYN coverage and the physician call rotation as outlined in the employment agreement.(Physician role) Provide physician-level management of obstetric emergencies and complex clinical situations.(Physician role) Provide physician consultation and escalation support to other clinical providers.(Physician role) Participate in hospital-based deliveries, procedures, admissions, consultations, and other responsibilities consistent with hospital privileges.
