Industrial Maintenance Technician

Up to $28.70/hr • Raises Every 90 Days • Overtime Available

Location: Madison Heights, MI (14 Mile & Stephens)

Pay: $20.00–$28.70 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts on nights. Lots of OT.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and help minimize downtime
• Repair and maintain industrial machinery used in steel processing operations
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed
• Complete maintenance records and work orders
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards

Qualifications

Required

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance, machine repair, mechanic, or related experience
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to work overtime when needed

Preferred

• Welding or fabrication experience
• Forklift or diesel repair experience
• Hydraulic or industrial electrical experience
• Experience working in manufacturing or steel processing environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform hands-on maintenance work throughout the shift
