Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Objective: Receives food & beverage, facilities, and gift shop products within approved receiving policy. Reviews incoming product against purchase orders and delivery invoices as well as product specifications. Typical working conditions: Works inside freezers, refrigerators and outside in all types of weather. (High humidity, extreme heat and cold) Interfaces with and operation personnel and venders when receiving. Also performs heavy lifting. Essential functions:

1. Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
2. Receives food product verifying quality and quintiles, rejecting material that fail to meet specifications.
3. Checks weight and temperatures of meats, seafood and any other product that require checking.
4. Receives facilities, casino and gift shop products following receiving policy and procedures.
5. Maintains a working knowledge of dry goods, meat, seafood, produce, paper products, construction and chemical supplies.
6. Ensures accuracy of receiving records, maintains all files in orderly manner in the receiving office.
7. Safeguards the warehouse operations and its contents. Ensures that all product is promptly moved to a secure location.
8. Participates in physical inventories.
9. Works in a safe and professional manner.
10. Drives a forklift and handle both an electric and manual pallet jacks.

Minimum qualifications: Basic math, computer, data entry Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Good physical mobility and coordination for driving and handling machinery (I.E. forklifts, electric/manual pallet jack) Good guest service skills Ability to communicate, understand and write English Valid CA drivers license Oral and written communication skills Must be able to perform detailed work and read and follow instruction Required education: High school diploma or GED Required experience: One year of food warehouse experience preferred.
