Title: Stores Supervisor | Status: Exempt

Reports To: President / Owner

Overview: A new start-up opportunity! We are opening a new Batteries Plus ( retail store and seeking versatile, customer-focused professionals for a Store Supervisor role. This hands-on position combines expert customer service and technical support (batteries, chargers, phone repairs) with operational leadership and team development responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail setting and is excited to help build a successful new location from the ground up. Base compensation + quarterly performance-based bonus! Training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet customers, assess needs, and deliver tailored solutions for automotive, marine, powersports, lawn & garden batteries, chargers, bulbs, and phone/tablet repairs. Good phone communication and response etiquette.

· Actively protect and elevate the Batteries Plus brand by delivering service experiences that generate positive Google reviews, strengthen customer loyalty, and exceed expectations at every touchpoint.

· Perform battery testing, diagnostics, replacements, while explaining features, warranties, and maintenance to build loyalty.

· Process sales, returns, and payments accurately on the POS system while maintaining cash-handling and loss-prevention standards.

· Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and organization to brand standards. Perform battery cycle charging as scheduled.

· Manage inventory receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and loss prevention.

· Handle opening/closing, cash reconciliation, daily reporting, and full compliance with safety and company policies.

· Lead by example in customer service and operations; provide coaching and feedback to build a high-performing team.

· Operate Batteries Plus systems like Prosource and Counterpoint.

· Strong communication, consultative selling, and tech aptitude (POS, diagnostics). Eager to master battery/electronics knowledge.

· Ability to stand/lift 50 lbs. Receive batteries/items on pallets from the supplier, and shelving. Ability to use pallet jack and pallet stacker.

· Flexible retail schedule (weekends/evenings).

· Drive sales targets, gross margin, and expense goals while identifying opportunities for efficiency and local marketing. Work with sales representative to maximize sales and margins.

· Champion a team culture that consistently delivers review-worthy service and protects the Batteries Plus reputation.
