Buyer II

Responsibilities:
Assist Procurement team with purchase order activites and projects. Manage and maintain Ariba files
Analyze and communicate relevant data such as vendor quotes, parts lists, reports, etc.
Obtain, evaluate and negotiate bids from suppliers for price, delivery, quality, and terms and conditions
Manage open order base to optimize maximum supplier performance
Evaluate supplier performance with various rating methods
Assist with cost reduction activities
Interact effectively with internal and external customers
Produce reports, statistics, and strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree can be substituted by minimum of 4 years direct work experience
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience; eight years preferred
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing desired; electronics industry background at a minimum.
SAP Ariba experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Products such as Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Experience in standard purchasing practices related to associated manufacturing, documents (BOMs, specifications, etc.)
