About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Payroll to lead and enhance its payroll operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of U.S. payroll, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments, and will play a key role in global payroll initiatives. This senior operational position demands a hands-on approach, with a focus on solving complex issues, strengthening controls, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. The role requires deep expertise in multi-state, multi-entity payroll, and a strong understanding of payroll tax and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of process improvement within a fast-paced, complex organization and be adept at managing off-cycle and special payment events. Applicants for the Vice President, Payroll role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years' of progressive, hands-on payroll experience, particularly in a multi-entity setting. Experience with international or global payroll and a background in financial services or a similar regulated environment is highly preferred. The role also requires advanced Excel skills, the ability to analyze large data sets, and experience with payroll systems such as Workday. The candidate must be adept at financial reporting, and reconciliation, and have a strong ability to partner with cross-functional teams. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity are essential. Payroll certification, such as CPP or FPC, is a plus.
