Certified Personal Trainer

Job Description Job Description Retro Fitness of Wayne is looking for a motivated and certified Personal Trainer to join our growing coaching team. We are currently seeking trainers with strong morning availability to support increasing member demand. Unlike many training environments, our trainers are supported by a dedicated Fitness Manager who handles consultations, sales, and client acquisition. This allows our trainers to focus primarily on delivering great workouts, building relationships, and retaining clients — not constantly chasing leads. This is an excellent opportunity for trainers who enjoy coaching, creating results-driven programs, and working in a team-oriented environment with built-in support. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and engaging one-on-one training sessions Build strong client relationships to drive retention and results Provide excellent member interaction and fitness floor engagement Support member accountability, motivation, and program progression Maintain a professional presence and uphold club cleanliness and standards Contribute to a positive and motivating training culture Qualifications Current nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or equivalent) CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) 1–3 years of personal training or coaching experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong coaching presence Morning availability strongly preferred Passion for fitness and helping members achieve results Compensation & Benefits Competitive session rates Complimentary gym membership Consistent client opportunities through internal sales support Ability to focus on coaching and retention rather than lead generation and sales Opportunities for advancement within a growing ownership group #J-18808-Ljbffr Pro-fit Management Group
