Job Summary:
The Production Clerk actively supports the Production Operations department with daily administration support, detailing daily production volume by line, downtime and efficiencies. He/she works closely with the plant department management teams to ensure the accurate and efficient production demand planning and finished goods inventories.
Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate production reports.
- By production line, record daily production volume and product activity.
- By production line, validate OEE in support of daily and weekly production plan.
- Report downtime activity by line.
- In concert with the Department Manager, prepare weekly and monthly production reports to report operational efficiencies (volume produced by SKU/type, downtime, OEE, labor (REG/OT).
- Support internal and external audits.
- Perform typical administrative duties, filing, faxing, scanning, emailing, report writing, and other clerical duties.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Two-years strong administrative experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications. Strong MS Excel skills required. SAP experience a plus.
