Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where you will travel to various homes in the Boynton Beach area to provide in-person therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and challenges, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.
• Design and implement customized rehabilitation programs aimed specifically at recovering from sports injuries and enhancing athletic performance.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to, functional training, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education to promote recovery.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress via electronic medical records (EMR), adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques, performance enhancement, and long-term health maintenance strategies.
• Participate in community outreach programs dedicated to sports health and preventive care, enhancing the visibility and reputation of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Sports Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with athletes and active individuals of all ages who may be experiencing sports-related injuries, surgical recoveries, or chronic orthopedic conditions. The goal is to facilitate a safe return to activity, ensuring patients are stronger and more resilient than before. Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to secure one prior to your start date).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in sports medicine or orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) or intention to pursue this certification is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships, underpinning a patient-centered and motivational approach.
• Registered with EMR systems, showcasing proficiency with electronic documentation for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
