BoyarMiller is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate with five or more years of real estate transactional experience to join our growing real estate transactions practice in Houston. We represent commercial real estate developers, owners, and investors in complex transactions across a wide range of asset classes. Key Responsibilities As an associate on our Real Estate team, you will act as a primary attorney on transaction files, driving deals forward, working directly with clients, and mentoring junior talent. Your focus will include: Managing acquisitions, dispositions, and complex project financings from initial structure through closing. Structure and negotiate a variety of real estate related documents, such as commercial leases, cost sharing agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, covenants conditions and restrictions, development agreements, escrow arrangements legal opinions, construction contracts, , condominium declarations. Maintain direct and day to day client relationships, manage transaction files, and oversee billing and collections for your matters. Direct, oversee, and guide the work of junior associates across transaction teams. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Five or more years of broad and hands-on commercial real estate transactional experience at a peer law firm or corporate real estate group. Demonstrated capability handling acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, development agreements, and project financings for developers, owners, or investors. Excellent practical judgment with a deal maker mindset, focused on delivering creative and business focused legal solutions rather than just identifying obstacles. Superior drafting, negotiation, and verbal communication skills, paired with a natural ability to build trust with clients and mentor junior associates.
