This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety during material handling equipment installation, mechanical assembly, elevated work, equipment setting, and contractor operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction safety professional who enjoys working alongside installation crews while helping ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.Required Qualifications✔ One of the following is required:OSHA 500 Certification and 6+ years of construction safety experienceBachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field) and 3+ years of construction safety experienceCSP, CHST, or STSC Certification and 5+ years of construction safety experiencePreferred Qualifications⭐ Conveyor installation experience⭐ Material handling equipment installation experience⭐ Distribution center or warehouse construction experience⭐ Mechanical construction experience⭐ Amazon or large logistics facility experienceWhat You'll Be DoingOversee daily safety activities for conveyor installation operationsConduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessmentsMonitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirementsSupport installation activities involving conveyor systems and material handling equipmentMonitor elevated work, equipment installation, and mechanical assembly operationsLead incident investigations and corrective action implementationDeliver safety orientations and field safety coachingReview Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plansMaintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance recordsPartner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazardsPromote a positive safety culture throughout the projectTechnical KnowledgeCandidates should have working knowledge of:OSHA Construction StandardsConveyor Installation SafetyMaterial Handling Equipment InstallationMechanical Construction SafetyIndustrial Construction OperationsFall Protection & Elevated Work ActivitiesAerial Lifts & MEWPsLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) DevelopmentIncident Investigation & Root Cause AnalysisContractor Safety ManagementConstruction Risk Assessment & MitigationWarehouse & Distribution Facility ConstructionWhat Success Looks LikeThe ideal candidate is a field-focused safety professional who can build strong relationships with installation crews, supervisors, and project leadership while proactively identifying hazards, maintaining compliance, and supporting the safe execution of conveyor installation activities throughout the project.Apply TodayQualified candidates should submit a resume for immediate review.If you have experience directly related to the project's scope of work, please ensure it is clearly reflected on your resume, including the specific trades, activities, or operations you supported (e.g., conveyor installation, material handling systems, mechanical construction, warehouse projects, distribution centers, industrial maintenance, elevated work, etc.).Interviews are actively being scheduled for qualified candidates.
