Role Overview

We are hiring a Junior Recruiter to help build our senior investment banking team. You will identify and engage experienced bankers, conduct interviews, present the Vortex Capital platform, and manage follow-ups through to onboarding.

This is a hands-on role with a strong sales component and substantial responsibility from the outset. Expect a busy schedule with high-volume outreach, candidate calls, and follow-ups.

Previous recruitment experience is not required. We provide training, scripts, recorded calls, and ongoing support. We prioritize ambition, competence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly and act on feedback.

What You’ll Do

1. Identify and engage investment bankers and senior advisors at VP–MD level.

2. Build candidate lists and source contact information.
\n
3. Conduct daily outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and SMS.
\n
4. Manage job postings, review applicants, schedule interviews, and follow up with candidates who have not booked.
\n
5. Lead initial and subsequent interview calls, assess candidates using our screening framework, and explain our platform, expectations, and economics.
\n
6. Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking, share concise daily updates, and participate in regular call reviews and coaching.

Training and Support

You will work directly with the founders and senior team, with structured training and frequent coaching. Management will support later-stage candidate conversations while you develop the skills to manage more of the process independently.

Compensation

1. Base salary: $5,000 per month.
\n
2. Additional commission equal to 10% of the revenue share earned by each senior banker you recruit, capped at $15,000 in total commission per banker hired.
\n
