This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to oversee daily clinical operations, support staff development, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the nursing departmentOversee clinical care delivery within the assigned unitSupervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident careMonitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions when neededParticipate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussionsEnsure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility policiesAssist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance managementSupport regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiativesServe as a resource for residents, families, and staff regarding care concernsPromote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident-centered careQualificationsCurrent, unrestricted LPN license in South CarolinaGraduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent CPR certificationPrevious leadership or management experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferredExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferredStrong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to lead by example and foster a positive team cultureWhat Makes You a Great FitPassionate about providing exceptional resident careStrong leader who motivates and develops othersOrganized, dependable, and detail-orientedEffective communicator and problem-solverCommitted to clinical excellence and regulatory complianceWe are an equal opportunity employer.
