Special Education Paraeducator

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students in school-based settings throughout the San Francisco area for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside teachers, special education teams, and related service providers to help students reach their goals.
Position Details
- 2026–2027 school year assignment
- Elementary, middle, and high school openings
- School-based setting - Full Time
- Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and instructional support to students with disabilities and diverse learning needs
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, small group instruction, and student engagement
- Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and communication goals
- Assist with implementing IEP accommodations and behavior support strategies
- Help students with transitions, routines, and maintaining independence throughout the school day
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or students preferred
- Experience in special education, ABA, behavioral support, or school settings is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paraeducator Certification required if you do not have a degree
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a classroom environment
