Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Omnicare, your core responsibilities will include:

• Managing an active caseload of clients, building rapport, and establishing positive therapeutic relationships while ensuring professional ethics and boundaries are maintained.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss their upcoming appointments, and develop discharge plans when necessary.

• Implementing, executing, and continuously monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Documenting client interactions and maintaining timely progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and effective communication among the care team.

• Performing intake assessments to gather essential information about clients’ mental health history and current concerns.

• Delivering individual counseling sessions effectively and empathetically to address clients' needs.

• Engaging in individual supervision to hone skills and ensure professional growth.

• An active, unrestricted LPC license in the State of Connecticut.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in leveraging technology, including utilizing Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, to enhance productivity and client care.

• Demonstrable experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

• Understanding of intake assessment processes and comfortability in conducting them.
