Key Responsibilities\n

• Physically or virtually establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, regularly measuring progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Provide options for teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual appointments or have difficulties with access, ensuring inclusivity in mental health care.

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions, adhering to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements specific to mental health counseling.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to refine skills and stay updated on emerging therapeutic practices and trends in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in the state of New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
