Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Location: Rock Island, IL Highlights Pay: $27-35/hr (plus a $1/hr differential for 2nd shift) Schedule: 1st & 2nd shifts available (Monday–Friday) Type: Permanent, full-time from day one Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime. Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Skills Mechanical Maintenance Electronic Maintenance Blueprints Qualifications 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Proficient troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with PLCs. Experience in the corrugated industry is a huge plus.
