CNC Lathe Machinist - 1st Shift

PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY (TRAINING NEEDS) Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, including Haas and Daewoo machines with live tooling and Y-axis capability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Verifies that all product produced meets customer specifications and is in accordance with Company quality standards. Performs advanced set‑up and operation of CNC lathes, including Haas and Daewoo machines. Programs from print, edits programs at the control, and selects proper tooling and workholding. Sets up and runs live‑tooling and Y‑axis lathe work, including drilling, milling, tapping, and related operations. Reads blueprints, uses gages, verifies dimensions, and ensures parts meet customer and Company quality standards. Works independently as a self‑starter to keep machines running, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production flow. Provides assistance to co-workers as needed, in the spirit of teamwork, with the goal of meeting or exceeding customer requirements. All other duties as assigned by a supervisor. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience/Skills: Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe set‑up and operating experience required. Must have experience with live tooling, Y‑axis lathes, and programming from print. Haas and Daewoo experience strongly preferred. Must be able to work independently and keep machines running with limited supervision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
