We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage. The Accounting Administrator will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization by managing accounts payable, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording all transactions accurately, including debits and credits.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all accounts are properly accounted for.
• Support technical accounting functions as needed, including compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
• Prepare reports and documentation for audits and assist in the audit process as required.

Skills:

• Proficient in accounting software, especially Sage, with a strong understanding of its functionalities.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and technical accounting practices.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and bank reconciliation procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
