Job Duties Monitoring quality assurance for products Assisting in developing tastes and new items for menus Practicing safe food handling and storage Keeping inventory and reporting depleted stock Maintaining kitchen equipment and sanitation Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and functionality Assisting expediter with plating and garnishing Restocking, cleaning, setup and/or breakdown of the kitchen space as needed Be a brand ambassador and potentially represent Red Bear at festivals and local events Any other assigned tasks Qualifications Previous work in a professional kitchen, minimum 1 year for part time applicants, minimum 2 years for full time applicants Comprehensive knowledge of basic cooking/preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to take direction and work both independently as well as part of a team Ability to communicate effectively with customers, other staff, and management Positive, fun attitude and self‑motivated work ethic Be able to work in a noisy and often very active environment Ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time Appreciation for beer and beer culture Flexible schedule with availability on nights and weekends Preferred Qualifications Experience in fine dining Willingness to learn ASL Benefits Hourly competitive wage based on Experience 401k Program available with Employer Matching (Full Time) Employer Contribution to Health Insurance (Full Time) Sick Leave based on hours worked. 20% Discount off Red Bear Items #J-18808-Ljbffr
