Regional Sales Representative

About the Job

Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to drive profitable growth within a defined territory by developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market share across the truck equipment and snow & ice industries. This role is responsible for identifying, targeting, and building relationships with national accounts, dealers, fleets, and end users while executing strategic sales initiatives that increase demand for Buyers Products. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will leverage industry knowledge, customer insights, CRM tools, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize customer networks, and deliver long-term value for both customers and the organization. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to exceptional customer service, the Regional Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding the Buyers Products brand within their region.

Job Duties

• Grows revenue in the defined region, focusing on long term opportunities with emphasis on key Buyers product offerings.

• Meets with customers to demonstrate value provided by products, trains and educates customers in the use of Buyers Products

• Identifies and targets end users and fleets to drive demand through our existing customer network

• Continuously optimizes the dealer (customer) network to maximize long term revenue for Buyers Products

• Develops and executes Sales Plans consistent with the commercial strategy developed by Sales Leadership.

• Uses CRM as a strategic tool to maintain customer records and to manage the opportunity pipeline

• Utilizes available data analytics, such Tableau, to identify opportunities to grow the overall value of customers, improve efficiency, and make better strategic decisions.

• Identifies, establishes and grows new dealers

• Maintains existing customer relationships and continually add new products to existing customers.

• Participates in performance reviews, annual sales meetings in OH, and ongoing training and development.

• Collaborates closely with key cross functional teams, including inside sales, customer service, product management and municipal sales team.

• Supplements efforts of our accounting team to ensure we receive timely payments from customers.

Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in related field

• 5+ years of progressive sales and territory management experience

• Knowledge/Experience in the OEM, Truck Equipment, Heavy equipment, manufacturing and/or Automotive Industry is preferred

• Significant overnight travel required

• Proven negotiating experience

• Strong problem-solving skills

• High proficiency in MS Office (excel, outlook, word, PowerPoint etc)

• Ability to efficiently use data analytics and related tools

• Strong communication skills internally and externally

• Highly organized and skilled in time management

• Ability to present in large group setting across multiple different customers types

• High level of professionalism and integrity
