At MidState Medical Center, we are focused on the support of our colleagues. Our Orthopedic Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Orthopedic Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide array of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, MidState Medical Center provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
Regular Standard Hours Per Week: 36
Schedule: Part-time (2 - 39 hours)
Shift Details: 3 12-hour shifts per week every third weekend and holiday 7p-7a
