Position Summary The Talent Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for building and running Mehnert USA's pipeline of field service talent, from sourcing through internal and external onboarding. This role owns the systems and processes that let Mehnert USA identify, attract, and prepare qualified automation field technicians as the company scales, and will play a lead role in standing up our talent supply chain operating platform, including our applicant tracking system (ATS) and onboarding infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Source, screen, and manage candidate pipelines for field service, technical, and operations roles, with a primary focus on automation field technicians. Own day-to-day recruiting execution: job postings, sourcing outreach, phone screens, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Assist in the selection, implementation, and administration of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including workflow configuration and reporting. Help design and build Mehnert USA's onboarding system, working with leadership to standardize new-hire documentation, compliance steps, and ramp-up milestones. Build and maintain a talent supply chain operating platform connecting sourcing, screening, onboarding, and workforce tracking into a single, repeatable process. Develop and maintain recruiting channel strategy (job boards, LinkedIn, OEM alumni networks, referrals) in partnership with leadership. Track pipeline health and recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance) and report on them regularly. Support employer branding efforts tied to recruiting, including trade show presence and recruiting content. Maintain compliance-related recruiting and onboarding documentation in coordination with HR/legal resources. Interface with contractors and contracting agencies as required to augment temporary staffing requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1-2 years minimum experience in the industrial automation space (e.g., recruiting for, working within, or directly supporting automation, robotics, PLC/SCADA, motion control, or industrial controls environments). Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally for technical or field-based roles. Comfort working in a small, fast-moving organization with limited existing infrastructure. This role helps build systems, not just uses them. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of ATS platforms and general recruiting technology. Demonstrate a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility High degree of integrity while working with highly confidential information discreetly and appropriately. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience recruiting for system integrators or field service organizations. Prior experience helping build or implement an ATS or HRIS from the ground up.
