Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool - Part Time Night + Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Float Pool – Part Time Nights – NYP/Queens Location: Flushing, New York Shift: Night Flex (7PM – 7:30AM), 28.75 hrs/week; 5 shifts biweekly. NewYork‑Presbyterian/Queens seeks a compassionate RN to provide care across Med Surg units—including ventilator, orthopedic, oncology, stroke, and cardiac—within the Float Pool. The role is part‑time Night shift and requires a commitment to excellence and professional teamwork. Responsibilities Provide nursing care across Med Surg units. Coordinate multidisciplinary services and participate in shared clinical decision‑making. Maintain high standards of patient safety and professional conduct. Support interdisciplinary team and assist in developing best practices. Qualifications At least three years’ experience as a Medical Surgical RN. Preferred: Medical Surgical and Pediatric experience. Telemetry or ventilator experience desired. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Current New York State RN license. BCLS, ACLS certification.
