Manager, Culture and Engagement

Role Description

The Culture & Engagement Manager plays a key role in strengthening employee engagement, belonging, and organizational culture across The Trevor Project. Reporting to the Director, Talent & Inclusion, this individual will lead and execute initiatives that foster connection, collaboration, trust, and inclusive employee experiences across a fully remote mission-driven workforce.

  • Lead and execute employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of culture initiatives aligned with Trevor’s mission, values, and employee experience goals.
  • Design and coordinate inclusive employee programming and community-building experiences.
  • Help foster a culture of trust through thoughtful communication and relationship-building.
  • Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and organizational engagement activities.
  • Support the development of scalable employee experience practices.
  • Partner closely with affinity groups and employee communities.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen belonging and equitable employee experiences.
  • Assist in coordinating culture and inclusion initiatives across Trevor’s U.S. and Mexico teams.
  • Support the administration and analysis of employee engagement surveys.
  • Analyze engagement data and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate employee feedback into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding culture experiences for new hires.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to fostering an environment of inclusion and belonging.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting affinity groups or inclusion-focused employee programming.
  • Strong project management and operational execution skills.
  • Experience administering employee engagement surveys.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive employee experiences.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and sound judgment.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience supporting employees across varying schedules preferred.
  • Cross-cultural or global organizational experience is a plus.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000.
