• Expertly performing venipuncture across all age groups to ensure precise specimen collection.
• Conducting accurate tests in specialized areas and troubleshooting effectively.
• Following SOPs for quality control, documenting and acting on corrective measures for precise patient outcomes.
• Processing proficiency samples, upholding confidentiality, and documenting critical values meticulously.
• Participating actively in competency assessments and ongoing professional development.
• Maintaining certification and engaging in educational opportunities and team meetings.
• Potentially training new team members or students.
• Utilizing technology and LIS systems adeptly to streamline processes.
• Fostering positive relationships with patients, visitors, and diverse staff members.
• Upholding our Medical Center's mission with dedication and reliability.
• Fulfilling additional duties as required to support our dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements include:

• Registered MLT/MT with current credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent), or eligibility within six months.
• Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results accurately.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical professionals, and stakeholders.
• Ability to accommodate and understand the needs of patients across different age groups.
• Familiarity with laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently within established guidelines.
