Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary Maintenance Supervisor – East Longmeadow, MA, USA – leading on‑site maintenance team focused on preventative maintenance, diagnostic improvement, CMMS scheduling, workforce distribution and project oversight to maintain facility systems and equipment reliability. Responsibilities Drive initiatives to implement preventative maintenance programs using machine logging, data analysis, and equipment procurement. Facilitate and support continuous advancement of the plant’s diagnostic capabilities, offering suggestions and recommendations to improve performance. Evaluate, prioritize, and schedule maintenance and facilities tasks, coordinating resources via CMMS. Distribute workload to maintenance technicians, providing technical oversight, leadership, and support as required. Maintain function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment through inspection tracking and contractor coordination. Oversee projects to ensure prompt, efficient, satisfactory completion, meeting schedules and quality standards. Assist with troubleshooting complex equipment and analyze work‑order trends to propose solutions. Collaborate with plant leadership to align maintenance projects with company goals, advise on facilities management issues, and provide status reports. Promote positive employee relations by applying plant policies and guidelines. Develop and implement training programs, and participate in selection and training of new employees. Communicate professionally, encourage feedback, and promote safe work habits and compliance with safety rules. Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, trade school diploma, or equivalent. Demonstrated supervisory experience supporting manufacturing/production operations. Familiarity with manufacturing environment and experience with electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance, including equipment installation. Prior work experience in a trades discipline such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing (preferred). Effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS programs. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts a plus. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $70,900.00 – $114,100.00 (annual full‑time). Salary may vary by job level, location, experience, and local wage requirements.
