As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed care to individuals struggling with substance use and related mental health issues, guiding them through their journey towards recovery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, which include psychosocial assessments, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to gauge each client’s needs.

• Collaborate with patients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific circumstances, aspirations, and cultural identities.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across various settings such as individual, couple, family, and group therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring that patients can access necessary care during acute episodes of distress.

• Accurately maintain clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering strictly to organizational policies and state regulations.

• Educate clients and their families through psychoeducational resources, helping them understand and manage their mental health challenges effectively.

• Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings, working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic care delivery.
